Abstract

Music therapy has emerged as a promising intervention for enhancing cognitive and behavioral development in special education, particularly for students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and learning disabilities. This study investigates the impact of music therapy on the cognitive and behavioral development of these students, employing a multi-modal approach that combines neuroimaging techniques and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven analytics. The research utilizes functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and electroencephalography (EEG) to assess neurological changes induced by music therapy, providing a robust understanding of the neural mechanisms underlying cognitive and behavioral modifications.
