Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Original Research Articles

  • Scope: Comprehensive reports presenting original research findings in the field of multidisciplinary research and review.
  • Content: Should include a thorough introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion.
  • Length: Generally, 4,000-8,000 words, including references and appendices.
  • Review Process: Double-blind peer review.

Editorials

  • Scope: Editorials are insightful pieces written by members of the editorial board or guest editors. They provide context, commentary, or viewpoints on the journal’s focus, current issues, or the content of the current issue.
  • Content: These articles should discuss significant developments in the field, trends, or specific articles published in the journal.
  • Length: Typically, 1,000-2,000 words.
  • Review Process: Editorials are usually invited and reviewed by the editorial board.

Review Articles

  • Scope: Summarized and synthesized findings from multiple studies on a particular topic, providing a comprehensive overview of the current state of research.
  • Content: Must include a critical evaluation of existing research, identifying gaps and future directions.
  • Length: Typically, 6,000-10,000 words.
  • Review Process: Double-blind peer review.

Case Studies

  • Scope: Detailed presentations of individual cases that provide insight into the application of theory, methods, or interventions in real-world scenarios.
  • Content: Must include background, case presentation, outcomes, and implications for practice.
  • Length: Generally, 3,000-5,000 words.
  • Review Process: Double-blind peer review.

Technical Notes

  • Scope: Descriptions of new techniques, methodologies, tools, or equipment that may be of use to researchers in the field.
  • Content: Should detail the technical aspects and potential applications, including any limitations.
  • Length: Typically, 2,000-4,000 words.
  • Review Process: Double-blind peer review.

Opinions

  • Scope: Articles expressing personal views, opinions, or interpretations on current trends, issues, or debates in the field.
  • Content: Must be well-argued and supported by relevant literature or data.
  • Length: Typically, 1,500-3,000 words.
  • Review Process: Single-blind peer review.

Book Reviews

  • Scope: Critical evaluations of recently published books relevant to the journal’s scope, providing summaries and assessments of their contributions to the field.
  • Content: Should include a brief summary of the book, critical analysis, and discussion of its significance.

Conference Papers/Articles

  • Scope: Manuscripts originally presented at conferences, symposiums, workshops, or seminars. These papers should contain significant advancements, discussions, or findings relevant to the field.
  • Content: Must include a clear introduction, methods, results, and discussion. The content should reflect the presentation given at the conference but can be expanded with additional data or analysis.

Working Papers

  • Scope: Preliminary research findings or theoretical explorations that are in progress and not yet ready for final publication. These papers provide early insights and invite feedback from the research community.
  • Content: Should include an introduction, preliminary methods, initial results (if available), and a discussion of the potential implications and future directions. The emphasis should be on the novelty and potential impact of the research.
